Now that I’m home for the summer, I find myself having an afternoon snack with the girls. Not the greatest thing for my hips, but it helps with those 3pm drowsies that I often get. It depends what we have in the house what I grab for. Sometimes, it’s the same snack as the girls, other times it’s pita chips or potato chips.
I was recently sent some Ritz Crackerfuls to try out, in both Cheddar Cheese and Cheddar Cheese and Bacon. I tried to share some with the girls, but they weren’t too interested. I guess they are grown up snacks.
They come individually packaged which is nice. It helps you only eat one serving! You can just toss it in your lunch or bag and go.
It is basically a giant cracker and cheese sandwich. The cheese is really creamy and cheesy tasting. It’s more like a cheese spread then a slice of cheese. The Cheddar Cheese and Bacon has a very creamy texture with an essence of bacon.
One thing that is weird, is when you bite into it, the cracker sort of snaps open like a duck bill, like the cheese isn’t very adhesive.
The Crackerfuls come in Garlic Herb, Four Cheese, Classic Cheddar and the newest Cheddar Cheese & Bacon. And, each one is made with 6 grams of whole grains and real cheese
Buy it: You can download a $1 Off Cheddar Cheese & Bacon Crackerfuls from the Ritz Crackers Facebook Fan Page until August 31, 2010 or up to just over 33k coupon prints.
