We finally got all three girls to see Santa at the same time! Whoot.

Serious girls with Santa 2012

This year, we found out that the Macy’s Parade Santa was going on tour and stopping at a mall near us. He arrived via bus (I think the reindeer are resting up) and was escorted by two of his elves. There were a couple other people there to greet and welcome him. We believe, Santa!

Mommy ran out of stamps, so we hadn’t yet mailed our letters to Santa. Fortunately, after they met Santa (it was very brief and a good thing we mailed letters because they didn’t get to talk to him), there was a box for all of the Santa mail.  We placed them in a special Make a Wish mailbox and for every letter collected Macy’s will donate $1 to the Make a Wish Foundation (this is a very near and dear foundation to us as my cousin, Taylor and her family were the recipients of a wish from the Make a Wish Foundation). I should have taken the time to draft a letter and have one from E, too. Next year.

If your children haven’t yet mailed a letter, or want to mail another one, get to Macy’s and look for the special box!

Three girls all looking at the camera! None of them crying? Huge Santa photo win.

Serious girls with Santa 2012

Yes, I did all of these Santa pictures last year, but it’s so hard to not include them every year. So, a little recap.

2011: Atlanta

Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Chick again.  Those are WAY better smiles than I ever get.  Best so far.

The other girl decided right before to ask for a “book or a toy” and came up with a “Scooby Doo book because we don’t have one of those.”

Success.  Two smiling girls with Santa.

Santa and the Mrs. at the Chick.

One girl wishes for an Ariel doll.  One girl wishes to get the heck away from these strangers.

2008: Santa on the Square

Two very unhappy girls.  Terrified of the nice man in the red suit.  Neither cared about Ariel dolls or candy canes.

2007: Santa on The Square

One terrified girl.  Actually, she was quite pissed at me and Santa.  Surprisingly, Santa still visited.

One pretty chill little girl.  If only we knew what the future held.
