With a big family, there are quite a few things we need in bulk. Toilet paper. Laundry detergent. Snacks.

Let’s just be honest, mostly the toilet paper.

And shopping with these crazy kids can be, well, crazy. And this time, I was totally a sucker because I let them ride in the car cart….which is pretty much like driving a semi around a store.

Who doesn't want to shop like this?

But, did you notice that sign there in the background? BJ’s Pick Up and Pay? BJ’s Wholesale Club Pick Up and Pay was created to save you time while still delivering great quality products at an uncompromising value. This new service is aimed at shoppers who prefer to shop online, but want the convenience and immediacy of in-Club pick up. In fact, in its annual year-end survey, the National Retail Federation (NRF) found that while 86 percent of online shoppers find free shipping important, a significant 66 percent want the option of picking up their purchase at an actual store.

So, I can order everything I need (dry grocery and general merchandise) from the comfort of my home, and if that’s all I need to get, run in, pay and take my items to my car. The only way to sweeten that deal is for them to make it a drive through service so I don’t even have to tempt my kiddos with the already cooked pizza!

The service is available for dry grocery and general merchandise items; however, you can still visit the Club to purchase perishable items and then show your order Pick Up & Pay order confirmation number during check out to pay for all the items at once.

How it works:

  1. Members sign into BJs.com, select their local Club and reserve items.
  2. A BJ’s Team Member will hand pick the items and place them in a cart ready to be picked up and paid for at BJ’s Member Service Desk.
  3. Once the order is ready, the Member will receive a confirmation email. Orders placed before 1PM can be picked up the same day!
  4. Members visit their local Club, pick up the items and pay.
