Smiles for Mommy | Mommy and Me Monday | The 82nd edition

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. I MAY EARN FROM QUALIFYING PURCHASES.

It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids.  Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information.

“Hey girls, can mommy get a picture with you before your bath?”

“Yeahhh.”

“Yes.”

(Me, a little surprised…it’s never this easy) “Daddy, quick, get the camera.”

“Cheese.”

“Cookies.”

Snap.  Snap. Snap.

Three perfect pictures.

Happy nice smiles.  Beautiful and growing (and holy cow how are they so stinking big) girls.

The girls and me

Today we had a nice 9/11 remembrance service at church.  Our new church.  And, I wrote about where I was just ten short and yet long years ago.

Mommy and Me Monday at Really, Are You Serious?

**There really is only one requirement here, a picture of you and your baby or babies; your children, your “baby” (ie significant other) or even your fur babies.  If your picture doesn’t feature you (meaning you must be in the picture), I will have to delete your link.  It’s not fair to the others that follow the rules.**

I try to make sure and visit all of you and leave some comment love.  Please spread the love!  And, I never mind the comments, either:)

  1. I just love that this has helped you get so many great pictures with them. And yes, how DID they get so big!?

    1. It really has. Mommy before MMM wasn’t even in existence. That had to change!

    1. Some of the nicest smiles they’ve ever shown in pictures.

It is a beautiful picture of all of you. Three gorgeous girls. I also enjoyed reading about your experience 10 years ago during the 9/11 attack. That was a day we will never forget or understand. May God bless America the land that we love.

  3. hahhaha….cheese…cookies…what a cute picture!

P.S Thanks for letting me know about the linky not working…I tried clicking it and it’s working…am not exactly sure what’s going on…ehehe….:)

    1. It’s working fine for this week! It was last week’s that wasn’t working…strange.

  4. I love this idea! I wish I had seen this carnival this weekend. I’m the photographer in the family which means I’m never in the pictures. I don’t want my kids growing up saying “What did Mom look like when we were kids?”

    Thanks for the encouragement!

    1. Hi Barb-

I do it every Monday (usually getting it posted Sunday night), so hopefully, you got a picture this weekend and you can link up!

  5. Wow! That is a great one! I’m so jealous of the genuine smiles that you got-Isabella WON’T smile and Evan has the fakest smile ever!

    1. It’s definitely a rarity! And, has taken quite a bit of practice.

  6. The girls are beautiful! How is their relationship with one another? We are thinking of trying for baby #2 but I am scared to take all the attention away from Camille

    1. It is such a good relationship! They are one day shy of 2 years apart and it really is special to see them playing together, working together and teaching each other.

I think having a sibling is a great thing. It teaches kids about patience and waiting their turn…and if you are worried about you, your heart just grows, the love doesn’t get replaced it just gets even bigger! GO FOR IT!
