S’mores? Yes, please

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. I MAY EARN FROM QUALIFYING PURCHASES.

We are definitely a family of S’mores eaters.

The girls? They like to eat the ingredients separately, but Mr. Serious and I prefer them lightly toasted and squished together with the chocolate and marshmallow dripping out the sides.

We really never have a reason, preferring to make them “just because.”  Once, we were grilling with neighbors and got ingredients.  Another time, we knew we were going to have a fire in the fireplace. And, every time, they were delicious.

I was inspired by twitter to make some S’more treats.  First, I broiled the marshmallows until lightly brown, then I inserted toothpicks and allowed them to cool.  We dipped them into melted chocolate and then crushed graham crackers.  They were so tasty and good.  Just like the real deal, but without having to sit by a hot fire in July.
