Spreading more Cheerios Cheer #giveaway

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. I MAY EARN FROM QUALIFYING PURCHASES.

I know I’ve mentioned the Cheerios Cheer promotion, but I’ve got one more chance to tell you about it, with a fun giveaway!

To thank the families of the troops that are serving our country, Cheerios® and the USO have partnered in a postcard campaign that spreads Cheer directly to these honorable military families and supports USO programs.

Cheerios Cheer

It’s super-duper easy to do:

  • Now through November 30, 2011 at your local grocer, specially-marked boxes of Cheerios cereal will feature Cheer postcards on the front of the box. Consumers can simply cut out the postcard from the Cheerios logo, write a message of thanks on the back, add a stamp and mail the pre-addressed card to the USO. The USO will deliver the Cheer card to military families across the country.
  • For each postcard received through November 2012 (so, you have ONE whole year to send it), Cheerios will make a $1 donation to the USO to help fund programs that support military families.
  • To kick off the campaign, Cheerios has already donated $150,000 to the USO and will donate up to an additional $100,000 based upon the number of postcards received from specially marked boxes now through November 30th, 2012.

Sending a “Cheer” postcard is a simple way to say thanks and lift the spirits of our country’s military families. Go, spread some cheer….some Cheerios Cheer!

And, to motivate you, you can also win this awesome Cheerios Cheer pack (which includes a box of Cheerios Cheer cereal, a Cheerios spoon and bowl and a cereal dispenser)!

Owen would finally be able to fix his own cereal! Or maybe we would put cat food in it. 🙂

  4. I am so inspired by the sacrifice of military families. My cousin (single mom) had her 6-year-old son come to live with us while she was deployed. Seeing how difficult this was for them (and sometime us) gave me a new appreciation for military and their families. God bless them!
