It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Our love for Stone Mountain is no secret if you’ve been around here for a while. Of course, we haven’t climbed the mountain in years, but we hope to do it one day again with the girls (That last part is steep!)

We were fortunate enough to be invited back to a sneak peak at the now open Stone Mountain Christmas, and just like last year, we had a blast! (Well, even more fun this time, because Mr. Serious was able to come, and I wasn’t pretty hugely pregnant!)

I have to start with my favorite picture from the evening! I got all four girls to sit with Santa….and nobody is crying!

We arrived, grabbed a quick picture, and some dinner.

During dinner, we had several opportunities to meet with some famous characters. You can’t not take a picture with Rudolph!

As it got dark, we settled outside to check out the lights (my pictures don’t do them justice). They are amazing and everywhere!

We caught the parade, had some dancing and singing along, and then waved to Santa!

We were constantly on the go, even way after bedtime and mostly everybody stayed happy. My favorite part of Stone Mountain Christmas is the Singalong Train where we (you guessed it) sing along to some favorite Christmas tunes. Mid-ride, the train stops for a heartwarming story of the first Christmas in “The Gift.” I just love that they take the time to tell the story of Jesus’ birth and the reason for the season.

We wrote letters to santa, caught the Holly Jolly Cabaret (super cute and recommended) and met with the Snow Angel (yes, another picture with all four girls looking…what?)

After the show and the picture, it was time for us to head back to see the magical Snow Angel® Snowfall and Fireworks Finale to wrap up the evening. We didn’t stop moving and didn’t see half of what was going on.
