Snow! In Atlanta! New Year’s Eve! | PSF

Okay, you caught me. It didn’t really snow. But they’ve been making snow at Stone Mountain since our visit in October. The girls were very curious as we saw it being set up then so we knew we had to go back.

First stop? Avalanche Alley. Big Family tubes. Mr. Serious, grandma and the two oldest went. Twice. You could hear them screaming and yelling with joy all the way down the hill (left most tube)

E was too short (okay, and probably too young) so we hung out at the top of the ramp waiting to catch them on the way down. It was cold but so nice and sunny. She snuggled in and had a little momma nap.

And then they came down again (far-most tube) and she woke up.

*Sidenote: when you go, ask where the foot ramp up to the top is. It shortened the wait time by at least half!

We were then so thankful to great-grandma who sent snow suits last year (but mommy forgot gloves) because we went and played in the snow.

The girls took themselves over to the Little Angels are where they went on sleds and tubes. We should have just headed here first. They loved it. Because they got to do their own thing. Although, they did enjoy help from grandma and daddy to give them a push.

Despite about 10 attempts at me trying to get them to go together, they couldn’t manage to pull it off and wait for each other. Pretty sure this is all off with the rule of thirds.

Couldn’t resist this one. She was going crocked and just went off the side laughing and smiling the whole time. (Nobody was injured…promise).

They also had a great time at the Snow Zone shoveling and digging in the show.

We had to grab come lunch and then headed up to the top on the gondola. Seriously, that was all N wanted to do. What 4 year old uses the word gondola? So, we had to appease her little heart.

Check out Snow Mountain is open select days and times through February 18th. It’s a pricier excursion but so many memories were made.
