Our baby girl in 3D/4D | WW

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. I MAY EARN FROM QUALIFYING PURCHASES.

This might be the most photographed singleton baby in utero in history.  But, I just can’t get enough of seeing our little girl’s beautiful face and parts.

I could look at these pictures all day.  Seriously.  And, no joke, I’ll pull them up and look at them all the time.

And, while the typical profile shot is pretty cool,

The 3D pictures from Stork Vision Atlanta are ah.mayz.ing (that’s really how I say it).  Look at her with her little foot by her head!  She’s got some serious flexibility going on.

And, she has hair!  Now, the two oldest really only had some fuzz, and to me, this looks the same (you can see it right at the front of her forehead), but only time will tell.  Look at that nose and those eyes.  It’s so amazing the detail that Shannan was able to get in these pictures.  Do you think she looks like her big sisters?  That seems to be the consensus around here.

This is how she spends most of her time.  Arms, legs and feet right in front of her face.  She likes to stay balled up, then give a big stretch and then go right back.   I can’t believe you can see her little knuckles on her hands and even her toes stretched out.

We were able to see her do this on the video (I wish I could share it, but it’s 13 minutes long).  I have some clips, because I know you want to see our little girl in 4D, too.

And, this one?  My absolute favorite.  All balled up, but her hand is out of her face and you can still see her little toes in front of her!

I can’t believe I never had a 3D ultrasound done before.  It’s so surreal to see them before they are here and see how they will likely look.  I can’t wait to get a picture of her here and send it to Shannan and Heather at Stork Vision just to show how she looks exactly the same (how could she not?).

An added bonus (and my bad phone pictures skills)….the girls got to go with us.  It was the first time for them to see their baby sister live in action on a big screen tv. They were able to sit on a nice comfy couch with daddy and watch in the same room.

Then, Shannan surprised us all and did a little ultrasound on the girls, too.  They got to see their hearts and hear it beat and see their kidneys and liver.  It really helped them make the connection between what was going on with their baby sister and the same parts in their bellies.  (Yes, they asked if they had babies in their bellies, too.  It was really cute).

I can’t say enough about the entire process of the 3D/4D ultrasound and I don’t know how I never had one done before.  It was such a pleasant experience at Stork Vision Atlanta!  When I shared my pictures on facebook with family and friends, they said they were the BEST pictures they had ever seen (my SIL even said they were better than both of the ones she had done with her boys).  The facility was so nice, it was like we were at the spa.  And, they had toys for the girls to play with, too.

*Stork Vision Atlanta provided me with the ultrasound and pictures to facilitate the review.  All thoughts and opinions are 100% my own!

  5. What an incredible experience! I got chills just looking at her move. It made me think of Psalm 139:13. She is fearfully and wonderfully made.

    1. Oh, she is definitely fearfully and wonderfully made! I still get chills thinking about her and watching her wiggle around!

  6. This is just so cool. I always wanted a 3D/4D ultrasound. They tried with the triplets but there were just too many babies in there to get any good pictures.

    1. I can see how that would be an issue. I imagine there would be a lot of pictures with feet in faces and hands in siblings faces, etc. Bummer you couldn’t do it, though because it sure is cool.

    1. Yeah, I have a feeling a little redhead #3 is on her way:)

Really good pictures. The video is amazing. I am glad the girls were able to share the experience with you. They are going to make the best big sisters. I love the look on N’s face. She doesn’t look like she’s too sure of the whole thing.

    1. She didn’t really know what to expect, but really she thought it was pretty cool.

  8. Those are so great! All of my babies push their faces into my placenta which makes it hard to get a really good one!

    1. Hopefully, this time you get a good one (I don’t think you’ve posted one of this little girl, right?)…but I did have to roll completely on my side to get the really good face pictures:)

  9. Too adorable! We got 3D ultrasounds with my daughter and it was worth every penny! I still go back and look at them, amazed, at how much they really looked like her! That is too cute that the girls got their bellies “checked”! New to your blog, looking forward to reading more in the future!

    1. I’m so excited to see her likeness to these pictures when she gets here!

And, despite the terrified look on my youngest’s face, she really was enjoying it!

      Thanks for coming by.

  10. Love this! We had a 3D ultrasound done with my daughter and it was worth every penny! I still go back and look at them all the time, and she will be 2 next week. New to your blog, looking forward to reading more!

Technology has come soo far these days! Amazing pics and video.

    1. It has. Apparently, just last year they didn’t even look this amazing!

    1. That’s what I’ve heard. I haven’t seen a ton of them, but I’ve had some jealous relatives tell me how much better these are!

    1. Aww…thank you! You know we agree…but I know we are biased.

  12. That last picture had me laughing out loud. She looks positively freaked out! LOL!

Those are amazing images! I can’t believe the level of detail you can see and the cuteness that abounds already!

    1. I know..I couldn’t even tell what I was snapping until we left…and I thought, “she didn’t look terrified when we were in there!” She really did enjoy it.

I’m soooo over the moon happy with how good they came out. They completely exceeded any of my expectations.

  13. She’s beautiful! I had a 3d with Eva, but it was way earlier & not nearly as cool. Not much longer!!!

    1. Thanks, Lisa! We had just the right timing apparently, where she wasn’t too big and wasn’t too little. I can’t believe it. 8 weeks to go!

  14. I can’t believe how much has changed in the 5+ years since I gave birth! That video is UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

    Congrats, Mama. 🙂

I like that you pointed out how this kind of ultrasound has shown you the organs of your child such as the liver and heart. I would definitely try this out when the time is right. It makes me feel really excited, but I just discovered that I am pregnant this morning after being delayed for three weeks. So I have to wait until the baby is bigger.
