Summer is rapidly approaching. And, that means it’s going to be time for a swimsuit. Especially with kids that want to go to the pool.
It’s always hard for me to find a suit I’m going to like. Going to the store is humiliating and shopping online is hard because you never know if a suit is going to fit.
Enter Swimspot.com, the #1 online swimwear boutique featuring designer swimwear from Hurley, Guess, Luxe by Lisa Vogel, Athena, and more. Two unique things about the site include the Fit Specialist Program and our Bikini Builder. The Fit Specialist program allows for women to make one-on-one appointments with a trained specialist to find the perfect swimsuit for their body type and preferences. The Bikini Builder shows how mixed and matched suits would look together.
I didn’t take advantage of the Fit Specialist. A magazine said this suit below “looked good on everybody!” I thought that was good enough and I went for it.
I checked out the bikini builder to get an idea of how it would look in the colors and styles that I picked out. I thought it looked pretty good, so I went for it.
So, yep. I went for a bikini. There were several really cute options for tankinis and one piece suits as well. But, I’ve been working really hard, watching what I’m eating and doing the 30 Day Shred and now Ripped in 30, so I’m going to rock it (or at least pretend to!)
What I liked about the site:
Just as I mentioned, I really like the bikini builder. I like idea of working with somebody, too, but I have no idea how to describe my body type, so I wasn’t sure how I would feel about that. FREE SHIPPING both ways! I love this. I like that I’m not worried about paying $20 to get a suit to me and then possibly send it back and have nothing to show for it. Good job Swimspot. com! This rocks.
What I would like to see improved:
Even though the site shows “different body types” I felt like the body types were really representative of all of the different sizes of those types. I felt like very woman looked like they weighed 100 lbs soaking wet, and that’s not me.
Overall, I really like the site and the options they have. I’d just like to see some more diverse body shapes and sizes.
The fine print. I received a promotional code to use towards the purchase of a swimsuit. All thoughts and opinions are 100% my own. I was not compensated.
