The Spring Recital
The first recital was in January. Â She did pretty well then.
This time? Â She did even better.
She looked super cute in her orange costume.
And she was still a little timid in tap.
(The legs, they get me every time? Â And, they are even longer than in January. Â So long, so slender, so perfect…so not from me!)
And, in ballet, she was stunning. Â She did almost all of it, and knew her moves (even making an entrance from off stage).
She had fabulous dance hands and really nailed it.
Once again, I was a super proud momma!
And, once again, so thankful that nothing in their dance was $exy or too grown up for them. Â It was perfect.
I’m linking up here. Go and visit their Wordful and Wordless Wednesdays.
Love it! Such cuteness…one thing I will miss!
There were some boys there, too!
Oh she looks just precious!!! She has awesome dance hands!
So, she did get something from me:) I had good dance hands, too.
So graceful! I love the pictures. She is beautiful!!!!
What a cutie!! I look forward to these things!
They start at like 3 yo here.
Can we please get an invite to the next recital? We will do our best to bring a fab car.
Love,
Auntie Em & STB Uncle David
If there is one, of course.
AWWW! How sweet!! Go girl!
Thanks, L:)
That is lovely! I love that they wore the same age-appropriate costume for both ballet and tap…so many of those things have gotten out of hand these days. She looks beautiful!
Amen! I was so glad to hear that, too! It’s still so dang expensive.

we are signing sydney up for ballet in a few weeks. i am completely giddy with excitement!
Oh, I bet she loves it..and so will you.
She’s a doll!
One of my favorite things is going to watch my sister’s spring recitals, too. I love watching her dance, of course, but my most favorite are the little bitty guys – the 3 yr old class. They are PRECIOUS!!!
There were actually some even tinier…they were too cute.
Oh she looks like a little doll! I love it! On a side note, I think I know a girl in that same dance class. She had on the exact same outfit (only the green version) and her recital was in the last week or so, I think. We’re bound to cross paths eventually!
You’ll have to let me know here name. There were green and orange girls in it..it’s through their school/daycare. Now, I’m curious who it was.

How wonderful she looks, the orange is perfect for her coloring and her hair.
I took dance lessons when I was a kid from ages 6-13 and she really does have the look of a dancer. You are right about her balet hands… she looks beautiful!
Great job little one.
Thanks, Lorie. I did dance for even longer than that..through high school..never was that good, though:)
She looks so cute! And indeed: leg-envy…
Oh, I have leg envy, too!
I looove her outfit, she looks so beautiful!
