Their shoes are cooler than mine | Mommy and Me Monday | 316th ed

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. I MAY EARN FROM QUALIFYING PURCHASES.

My girls are way more fashionable than me. Plus, they are pretty sure of who they are and wear what they want without caring what anybody thinks. I like to think of that as a positive parenting move in their self-confidence.

So, when KEEN offered to send super cute, stylish and bold shoes from the Encanto Collection, I knew that they would be a perfect fit for them. And, maybe make me step up my shoe game. As for now, they are way more stylish than me. And, I sort of want a pair in adult sizes (hear that, KEEN?) They are perfect for kids that like to be outside and with the weather starting to finally warm up…we are doing a lot more of just that…being outside.

Sometimes, you can barely see mommy in the mommy and me Monday photo, but girls, mommy was there and I’m sure one day you will get after me for my shoe choice compared to yours.

I mean, just look at these girls! Each of the shoe styles couldn’t be more perfect for them, either.

N, my oldest is wearing the Encanto 365 Boot. Today of course, it’s not a concern, but when she literally can’t avoid jumping in a puddle or riding her bike through one, these will keep her feet dry using a waterproof membrane and water-resistant materials. Plus, she can still run and play because they are 50% lighter-weight than most heavier boots made with rubber. In a smaller size, these would still be easy for E (4 years old) to put on because the webbing loops make it easy for little kids to pull on the boot themselves and the adjustable bungee closes around the leg so kids can puddle-stomp all they want without water splashing into their boots. The colors of this entire line are amazing and the protective toe-cap adds the durability KEEN is known for (MSRP $60.00; 8-13)

E, my second middle, looks great in the green Encanto Sneaker that also includes graphic prints. Since she’s not close to tying her own shoe, we avoid shoes that tie. These look like they tie, but actually have a hook and loop strap with bungee laces meaning she can put them on and take them off all by herself. The padded collar, foam footbed and breathable mesh lining show attention to detail on this tiniest of sneakers. (MSRP $50.00; Sizes 4-13)

The Polka dots are perfect for B. These also have hook and look and at 2 years old, she can put them on herself. Of course, she has a 50/50 shot of getting them on the correct feet! Comfort elements include a padded collar and tongue plus a breathable mesh lining. The rainbow pull loop at the heel and French binding throughout add darling finishing touches to this fun little sneaker. (MSRP $50.00; Sizes 8-13)

Hold that pose, B. She really rocks that sassy/punk rock fashion look. #todderootd #toddlerfashion

These KEEN Encanto Collection shoes are a perfect fit for the girls’ personalities. As far as foot fit, they are really true to size and I nailed two out of three. B still looks like a puppy that needs to grow into her feet, but at her peanut size, I pretty much never get them right. Thankfully, her feet will still grow.

And, one day, I’ll get my shoe game on point with their style and we can all have fun, bright and comfortable shoes in the same picture!

What were you up to this week?

Since the button code stopped working many moons ago, I took it out. But, if you are adding your link to my link list, please, as a courtesy, add a link back to my site so people can explain and link up themselves if they’d like. After all, that’s the point of the link up!
