Thanks to Lindsay for the idea. I thought I would give it a try.
Not only does our daughter like to tell us “No” with big drawn out lips, just to make sure we understand what she’s saying, but it has gotten even worse.
The other day, I asked #1 to do something, and she said “no, no” to me and proceeded to shake her finger at me. What? Where did she get this? She just told me “no, no” and wagged her finger. *Gasp* did I teach her this inadvertently? Let’s hope this one is from daycare.
#1 has also taken to telling the cat, “no, no” for doing absolutely nothing (as we know that is all cats do). And, she threw a toy at her! I think she thinks Sasafras is one of her friends from school that has some how taken something from her.
Completely unrelated, she has started to love on Sasafras, too. She was giving her kisses last night and petting her ever so gently and with a smile on her face! She sure is growing up.
