Despite the dogs outside, #1 really wants to go outside all the time. Especially when we get home from school in the afternoons.
For those of you that didn’t see the Atlanta craziness, it snowed yesterday. Well, not a coating or anything, but it was pretty dang cold. And of course, she wanted to go outside.
So, she stood at the front door and repeated “outside, outside.” I told her “no it’s too cold” and she started to really turn on the water works. Then, she stopped, and walked over to where her jacket was hanging, pointed to it and said “jacket.”
That’s when you know they are getting too smart. She understands that it is cold outside and that if you have a jacket it makes it okay.
In the end, she didn’t get her jacket or outside time, but she did walk to the garage door and stand on her tippy-toes and try to open the door. And then, the tantrum!!
The good news is later that night was bath time, and while she fussed before the bath, she actually got in, sat down, played with her “foogs” (frogs) and smiled! Woo hoo, we’re making progress.
