Yes, I brought a baby to a conference. Again. Because we go together like peas and carrots. Or like a baby and boobs in our case.
So, where I go, she goes.
Either everybody was blowing smoke, or she was pretty well behaved (I agree). She did a lot of hanging out in her LILLEbaby carrier* and I did a lot of walking, but we were at a large portion of the conference together. We even got to lunch with some amazing women.
We were chatting about brands “getting it” and Otterbox* came up, and almost everybody in the room pulled out their phones safely in-cased in their Otterbox cases.We were inspired to make a little movie, too. She really is such a sweetie! I didn’t do much at the conference, post-vacation sniffles had me worn out. But I am so glad for the bit I did get to do there. Type-A Atlanta is a great one!

No smoke, she was perfect the whole time. And the prettiest thing at the whole hotel 🙂 I can’t believe we didn’t get a picture of just us. I didn’t take nearly enough photos!
Seriously….why are there no pictures? We all have little cameras in our pockets? I did the same thing at Mom2…and Type-A last year!

I love this! I just came across your site for the first time, and I completely agree with you about Moms needing to be in photos for so many reasons, including what you’ve written about in your posts. I always think it’s cool to see photos of my mom when I was a kid, but there aren’t that many of them. I try to snap a lot of her now – as long as she has one of my daughters in her arms, she doesn’t seem to mind so I take full advantage of the situation! 🙂
So very true! It’s much easier to get in the picture with our kiddos! I know everybody is looking at them instead of me, but I hope one day the kids will appreciate having them!

She is soooo cute! You both did amazing at the conference. I was in awe of you; you looked so calm and relaxed the entire time. Did I mention she is soooo cute?
Thank you! I guess I’m used to having a baby with me everywhere I go! I wouldn’t say I was calm on the inside, but I know our limitations and I try to listen and feel what she wants and needs?

I love this link up idea, I added mine but the picture is coming up black so I think I did something wrong. I just recently got a case after breaking my iPhone twice! It’s not an Otterbox, but it’s a good enough case; I actually dropped my phone with it accidentally and it didn’t shatter or chip! Have a great weekend!
