What’s worse than somebody thinking you have chocolate on your lip?

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. I MAY EARN FROM QUALIFYING PURCHASES.

Yes, there is something worse than somebody thinking you have chocolate on your lip! Especially when that “chocolate” is a freckle (or maybe even a mole)!

Not chocolate

It’s when they come up to you and either a) attempt to get it off themselves of b) hand you something to get it off.

These things have both happened on more than one occasion. No joke.

I imagine it would be equally as awful if you had a cold sore and somebody told you that you had some dried food on your lips. That wouldn’t be cool, either.

It’s just as uncomfortable watching it happen. I was at a dinner with a group and a woman was telling another woman to wipe her face. And she kept at it while everybody was telling her it was all good.

I’m the person that will tell you that you have spinach in your teeth, for sure. But, I don’t usually say something about people’s faces, especially if it’s a not-so-well-lit space.

Have you tried to wipe something permanent off of somebody? Or had somebody do the same to you?
