Yes, it is completely common and normal for children to mix up a couple colors, numbers, or letters. Nothing to worry about, just developmental. I wish I could think of some really good “proof” or reason why but I can’t. I just know it is common. One of the most common things in children 5/6 is letter reversals! b/d/p Anyway…no worries :o)
Wow! Now that looks like a good time. When I was preggers, I let my daughter paint my belly. It felt so good and let her “bond” with the baby before he was born. Cute pics.
Holy Cow! I just realized your pregnancy ticker says 35 days! That is so soon! How exciting! I can’t wait to find out what it is and the name! I don’t know how you can do the surprise thing.
My little flower wouldn’t DARE get her hands dirty.. all the other kids would finger paint.. NOT my child.. I always got the traced hands… sighhh….

My Isabelle has just dubbed herself with Izzy for a nickname! How funny!
Good idea to do that activity in just a diaper! I guess she figured you weren’t stopping her so she might as well really have fun with it.

What a master of art…. both her and her picture
I love the slow progression…from just fingers to whole body. She’s a little piece of artwork, I tell ya.
A little Picasso in the making perhaps?
Saw you comment on another site and thought I’d stop by. What a cute blog design. And, I love the full body paint job. What a cutie!
You seem to have a little artist on your hands there!
Hope all is well with you,
