You wish you were here
After an exceptionally trying afternoon, I found myself in the car with #2. Alone.
Me: “#2, were you a good listener today?”
Her: “What?”
Me: “#2, were you a good listener today?”
Her: “Whhhhaaatt?”
Me: “N? WERE YOU A GOOD LISTENER TODAY?”
Her: “What mommy?”
Me: {Shaking head.} “That’s what I thought.”
Me: “Please stop picking your nose.”
Her: “This nose.”
Me: “Yeah. That’s the one.”
Hahahahah this totally just made me laugh. She’s a crack up!!
Love, Mere
Ha! Similar conversations take place over her every other day 🙂
That is too funny! I ask Maggie all the time “what did mama just say?” and I always get “huh?” as an answer. Yes we have been working on our listening skills here too! But at least she didn’t admit to picking OTHER people’s noses!
I didn’t even think of it like that!
Sounds like me talking to my kids. 🙂
She is too funny. I bet she knew what you were up to 🙂
Oh, yes, she did. She loves to mess with me.
LOL I love that picture!! Those kiddos can be frustrating when you ask them a question and they say what repeatedly!
lmao oooooh have I been there!
What a hoot!!! I needed a smile this morning. Thanks for sending one to me.
Hugs, Grammy L
I do what I can.
That is hilarious! Emma Jane is practically deaf as well but I think it is self-imposed deafness!
Have they been taking cues from their daddys?
so typical of my 4-year old. Makes me want to scream 🙁
Hmm, my other comment was held for moderation, probably because I added links…
BTW, I received the coffee maker. It is sooo awesome. Thanks a million!
Ha – NICE!!
awesomeness.
She and Henry… ugh, he is the worst from the back seat of the van!
She was only in the middle of the van!
oh wow!! and she didn’t say “What” on purpose did she? Oh that girl is a very smart one, you are in trouble Krystyn LOL
My 21 month old son will be so attentive and obedient one minute and the next he will give me a total blank stare when I ask him to do something. Aggravating!
Hilarious post!
Oh, it was totally on purpose. She really likes to mess with us.
HaHaHa… you have me laughing and feeling sorry for you all at the same time.
You brought back memories from when my boys were little, thank you! 🙂
Oh, I’m sure there are tons of other memories I can bring back for you.
