Back at the beginning of the year, I wrote a letter to myself reminding myself that I was slowly going to work on getting back in shape.
I’m not sure I’ve been truly working towards that goal. I did have several days in Disneyland where I took more than 25,000 steps, so I’ve been wearing my fitbit every day and counting those steps.
I’m trying to be more aware of my water intake. I know that I’m still not getting enough and with breastfeeding and how hot it is outside, I need to do better.
The eating and the snacking? Well, that hasn’t really changed either because I’m all about the snacks (I’m pretty sure B is going through a growth spurt, too because she’s eating a lot more lately)!

Since I’ve cut gluten (all of the Perfectly Simple bars are gluten-free) and dairy, (which is only the Perfectly Simple: Cranberry Almond and Peanut Crunch) I’m all about making swaps in my food that help keep everybody happy.
I’m finding replacing food as a much better option then trying to use a bunch of “gluten-free” products. It makes my brain and body feel better!
