With three kids and their three different schedules, it’s easy to lose track of time and remember to eat my small meals everyday. Being pregnant, the small meals are what keep me feeling good and avoiding the shakes and jitters.

Bars that I can grab and eat in the car are just the right thing. I recently had the chance to try out a Zone Perfect bar at the Reviewers Retreat this summer. It was tasty and filling, so when I was given a chance to try out a few more, I said “yes, please.”

Turns out, I’m not the only one that likes them. Mr. Serious has been using them as his go-to quick breakfast as he’s running out the door. He can eat it in the car on the way to the bus and feels full.

They have recently added these Greek yogurt flavors to their nutrition bar family – Chocolate, Vanilla Berry and Raspberry. This makes The ZonePerfect brand now offering bars in a variety of 27 flavors.

The bars combine indulgent Greek yogurt with 12 grams of protein and 3 grams of fiber (Contains 5-6 grams of fat per serving). The yogurt definitely gives them a sweeter flavor than some other bars that I’ve had, so I tend to eat them later in the day.

The Greek bars are available in the nutrition aisle nationwide in select grocery stores, drug stores and mass merchandisers and are sold in packs of five.

  1. I want to try the Greek Yogurt Chocolate the most.

  2. I’m boring and would probably go for the chocolate, then the vanilla and any berry flavor would be last on my list. Chocolate is ALWAYS my favorite!

  3. As far as something nice, I just baked two loaves of Beer Bread and three pans of banana bread for the neighbors. I do this weekly because their wives won’t bake or cook. They give me the ingredients and I do the baking. It’s a win-win situation!

  4. thanks for the heads up. might have to try them out 😉

  5. Something nice I did recently was make some cookies with my kids for an older neighbor who fell and injured herself recently.
