enGreet-Greeting Card Review and Giveaway

Do you often forget to send birthday cards or anniversary cards (or any other type of card) to family and loved ones?  I find this happening more and more to me.

enGreet has devised a solution.  They are an online marketplace for greeting cards.  They have a very convenient way of choosing, personalizing and mailing unique printed greeting cards. 

enGreet features independent artists allowing them to have original cards with many different social expressions.  At enGreet, you pick the card, design and customize it (even choosing unique custom, handwriting-like fonts, purchase it, and then they drop it in the mail for you.  Even better is you can schedule cards if you know you aren’t likely to remember.  And, enGreet also allows you to set up reminders for future events.  Coming soon, they are also going to be integrated with Facebook, so you won’t miss another friend or relative’s special occasion.

Most of the cards are between $1.99-$2.99.  Not expensive at all.

Serious Tested:  I ordered Mr. Serious a “just because” card.  I thought it would be nice for him to get a little note of appreciation and gratitude in the mail.  I would like to see more cards in this genre, but I found one that I liked.  I picked it, easily customized it with a font I like, wrote the words, and mailed it off.  It couldn’t have been easier.  You even get to put your address as the return address instead of theirs.
The card was ordered on March 8th and according to the post mark, it was put into the mail on March 11th.  We received it at our house March 15th.  I’d like to see the cards arrive a little faster, but a week isn’t bad, especially for not having to take a trip to the store.

    I think I would definitely give this a shot because (about to sound really lazy and ridiculous) sometimes it just takes FOREVER to drive across town to a store that I know will have cards, sit there and pick one out, and then drive back across town to mail it.

    As I was looking through the cards, I noticed the Ass Family birthday card — cute!
