Favorite Things Swap
She did it completely random, and she picked Stephanie for my swap partner. Mommy to the lovely Karys. Blogger extraordinaire. She does it all…and still has time for date nights with her hubby.
As you may or may not know, we go WAY back. All the way to high school. We were on drill team together. If I weren’t feeling lazy, I would scan a picture of us in here from those days! Oh, well. Maybe next time. We’ve known each other for over 10 years. Our husbands know each other, our kids know each other. It was too funny. Which also amounted to a lot of nervousness on my part. What are some of my favorite things that Steph will like? Will she ever speak to me again?

Back to me. That’s right. She sent me a fabulous package of some of her favorite things that she said she can’t live without.
She made it so pretty…even with a hurricane just recently landing on her!
I just knew she was going to send this one. Steph’s been trying to get me hooked for a while now. She succeeded!
She sent Twilight, some fabulous nail polish, two lip glosses (did I mention that I remember her loving the stuff in high school, too) and some very cozy lounging/sleepy pants.
Now these are going to be my favorite things!
And, of course, Karys did not forget #1. She was so excited she had a “present” to open. We couldn’t get her to open the card.
We showed her and she said “bow hair!” It was love at first sight. She wanted to open them right then and there. First, I said, “hold them up so mommy can take a picture.” So literal, that one!
She was on the go, go, go, so this is the best I could get of her wearing her new clips. But after a while, she forgot about it, and we actually were able to go out with it in her hair. Until she remembered and pulled it out.

That is too funny about who you got matched up with! I LOVE my NYC lipgloss – cheap, and completely not cheap feeling! I love the Au Naturel color!!! I’ve been slowly turning the whole world (OK, my friends) onto my addiction!

NYC is my favorite lip gloss in the whole world – I am never with it – it’s in my pencil holder at work, 2 in my purse, 1 in my car and 2 in my makeup bag at home. I buy backups and am possibly a tad bit obsessed. It’s the best though!

What a fabulous idea. I’m new to this whole blogging thing, but its kinda fun. I’m jealous of yalls cute sites, and all the fun things you do with it. Maybe in time I will learn as well.
