How to make money online and with your blog

Blogging…computer time.  We all spend time doing it.  And, believe it or not, it’s possible to make a little money doing it, too.

Now, (at least for me), I’m not talking about paying a salary, but, a dinner out every once and a while sure is nice.  And, if you are on the Dave Ramsey plan like us, you can help speed up your debt snowball.

Make Money online and with your blog

Ebates

Do you shop online?  Okay, silly question, right?

I think we all shop online.  Personally, I like to be rewarded for it.  So, I signed up for Ebates. If you haven’t set up an account yet, you get a $5-$10 gift card bonus after you make your first purchase.

Whenever I have online shopping, I log into my Ebates account.  Then, I search for the store I want to shop at (Old Navy, Sephora, and more) click on it, and it takes me to the store’s site directly.  Basically, you are rewarded for going through Ebates.  And usually, it’s at least 2% of the amount you spend.  Sometimes I’ve seen as high at 10%.

What’s even better, is not only do they give you money back for your shopping, they also provide you with the current coupon codes, too (like free shipping, discounts and more).

Izea

Izea is a really cool idea.  If you are interested in helping get a word out and making a little money doing it, Izea/Social Spark is for you.

Get Sponsored by Big Brands
You sign up as a publisher. Advertisers approach Izea with their campaigns. Izea then contacts you to see if you’re interested.  If you think it’s a good fit, you accept the lead and set the price.

So basically, I get to set the price and decide if I want to work with a publisher.  Once the post goes live, you will receive your credit in 30 days via paypal.

Swagbucks

Now, I thought I was the last one on the Swagbucks bandwagon, but I was wrong.

Basically, if you ever search for anything on the internet (like google), you should be using Swagbucks.

Your Swagbucks easily convert to many different things, including Amazon and Starbucks giftcards.  In less than a month, I have a $5 Amazon giftcard (and I can’t even install the toolbar at work).

Make money searching with swagbucks

All you have to do is install the search bar, and start searching as you normally would.  You are rewarded for your searches.  The more searches you do, the more Swagbucks you make.  And, the search results will be just as good as google, so you don’t have to worry about getting bad results.

It is easy and FREE to join.

Young Living Essential Oils

Young Living is a 20 year veteran of the direct sales industry. If you are thinking of building your own business and working from home or supplementing your income, let’s chat about how I can help you bring natural living to your home and neighborhood. Let’s inspire and assist families that are looking to take a more natural approach to their lives.

Try Essential Oils

When you sign up for a whole sale account and purchase a premium starter kit, it allows you 24% off retail and discount shipping. NO, you do not have to sell to have a wholesale account. Its just a membership deal that allows you to get the best price. But, if you do decide to sell, the opportunity for growth is amazing!

Linqia

Linqia is a really cool idea for bloggers. Linqia has you apply to their program. Once accepted, your “community” will be emailed with offers. If you are interested, you reply to the email and they send a formal invitation to join the campaign. Linqia pays promptly and has some fun campaigns.

If you don’t have an account yet.  Sign thee up on SwagBucks!

Great tips and none that I use currently, I’ll have to get signed up for some of these soon! One thing that I just learned about last week was: http://www.s2h.com/

You wear this watch while working out, get a reward code and redeem the code of gift certificates. This is a no-brainer for me, I’m already working out! Plus, I love the idea of getting kids motivated and moving.

That’s a pretty cool idea. Bummer is, the watch says it only lasts 18 months….and you have to buy something.

I use to blog for Social Spark and Payperpost.com, but since I had my little boy, it was hard for me to get on money making blog and take care of him at the same time. Somehow, my brain just doesn’t work well and could not come up with something good to write. LOL! I also did try Blogverstise.com, but I didn’t get that much OPP.

Maybe you’ll find some more time as he gets old and you can get back into the swing of things. I haven’t heard of payperpost or blogvertise.

I mean the swagbucks are super easy..and you search like you normally would.

And, ebates is good for buying pretty much anything online.

And, the social spark is cool for new ideas.

Let me know what you decide and what you think of it.

Awesome! I agree that we have the responsibility to help other women to become independent and launch their own online business.
