I was finally able to get seen by the dentist. On my terms and at the time I wanted! It only ended up being a couple weeks past my 6 month deadline, so I was pretty happy about that.
And, I was happy they didn’t argue too much when I refused the x-rays (that’s a whole ‘nother post, but I think it’s a little overkill to say the least).
As usual, the hygienist was singing my praises. I had very little to no plaque and my teeth looked amazing (minus where I grind them to a pulp!). She was especially impressed because she knew I just had a baby and said most of the time, women have so much more plaque and their gums are very sensitive. I lucked out.
I always make a point to get anti-cavity, anti-plaque, well, anti-everything toothpaste, and Crest and Oral-B Pro-Health Clinical Plaque Control products were no exception. The toothpaste leaves my mouth minty fresh and feeling very clean (it almost feels like there are little scrubbers in it going the extra mile). And, the floss helped make sure that I got the plaque from between my teeth (and my teeth, save the front two are really close together, so I have to use the Glide or else it either gets stuck or shreds in between my teeth). I tried the mouthwash. It doesn’t burn and has a nice minty taste, but the after taste was terrible. Once again, the artificial sweeters strike. I don’t know if there is an alternative to these, but the after taste is so bad that I couldn’t keep using it. Mr. Serious, however, isn’t sensitive to sucralose, so he will continue to use it.
I wrote this review while participating in a test drive campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Crest and Oral-B and received product samples to facilitate my candid review. Mom Central Consulting sent me a promotional gift to thank me for taking the time to participate.
