The oldest two girls and I have been trying to spend a little more time together lately. Time that isn’t me telling them to clean up something or do their homework. So, I guess I should say I’ve been trying to spend more time with them. We started reading a book all about changing from a girl to a woman. So, that was fun. And surprisingly, they knew like almost none of it. So, I guess I feel good that I wasn’t correcting crazy stuff they learned from school, but I still felt a little behind on the game.

Saturday, we went to jump. It took us about an hour to get to the springfree trampoline store to try out their new tgoma gaming system. So, on the way there, we played a little game to see if they could “guess” what we were going to try out. I gave them the start of the word. Then the end. Then told them it had three syllables and slowly filled in the other letters. The had T-R-A-_-_-O-L-I-N-E and finally guessed “TRAMPOLINE!” Knowing how much they like to jump on them, I knew they would be thrilled. But, knowing it was going to take an hour to get there, I wanted to draw it out a bit.

We finally made it and the girls and even I had a chance to jump on the trampolines and try out the new tgoma system. (There’s a fun video at the bottom of the post if you want to check it out!)

{Rule-follower alert: We all got on just for the picture. There should only be one person on the trampoline at a time!}

These girls would jump all day long if I let them. They had a great time and really enjoyed learning all of the features about the trampolines and the gaming system.

But, I was getting hungry after all of our jumping and a bootcamp class earlier in the day. So, we had an impromptu lunch outing as well. These were the happiest lunch out girls I’ve had in a while. There wasn’t a single complaint about the food choice or what they got or the fact that they had to drink water. It was a really enjoyable day!

Here’s our fun jumping video, too, because, you have to make a video when you are jumping!

What were you up to this week?

Since the button code stopped working many moons ago, I took it out. But, if you are adding your link to my link list, please, as a courtesy, add a link back to my site so people can explain and link up themselves if they’d like. After all, that’s the point of the link up!

It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids. Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information.  Need another reason to participate in Mommy and Me Monday? Read my post about why I blog with words from a friends’ husband.

      Yes, definitely. The store has pretty regular hours and I double checked and anybody is welcome to pop in and jump whenever they’d like! You just missed out on some snacks and pizza:)

    Those sweet gals had such fun! I loved the little video to see it in action, though I’m a chicken for big trampolines. I’d rather watch you fly! 🙂

    How fun! I need to plan an adventure like this for just my son and me. Sometimes it’s hard for us to get one-on-one time.

      So very hard. Often ours is 2 on one, instead of 4 on one, but sometimes I can get it down to one on one!
