There is a struggle happening with our Netflix profiles. We don’t have babies here. But, we don’t have all big kids either. And sometimes our big kids forget that their little sisters like to watch kid shows. They are after all little kids. Thankfully, they all have their own profiles. Double thankfully, we have an iPad so there can be something on a TV and something on an iPad during their screen time.
While the bigs are more into shows and movies with people with more complex plots and cliffhangers, the little two are interested in shorter shows with valuable lessons, catchy illustrations and fun music. Netflix is always coming out with content for all of them, but I know that B (now 4) will love Llama Llama a new Netflix original series.
“Llama Llama Red Pajama” may be one of the catchiest children’s rhymes of all time (just ask Ludacris). Whether your kids grew up on the books or still reach for it every night, there’s a good chance Llama and his Mama have been a mainstay in your family’s bedtime routine. And now, the beloved bedtime stories are coming to Netflix, with the launch of the official animated Llama Llama series on January 26.
This is definitely not how my kids react to new shows.
The beloved children’s book character Llama Llama is brought to life in this heartwarming series with all of the good stuff: family, friendship and learning new things. With an amazing cast, including Jennifer Garner, Shayle Simons, Vania GillGenres parents are likely to want to watch it, too! It’s geared at ages 0-4, but I bet my older kids will sneak in a watch or two when they see their sisters enjoying it!
Check out the latest trailer here and be sure to tune in on January 26th to catch this new show on Netflix.
