We had a great week with family and friends and fun! There was a concert, a hotel stay, cousins/nieces, my sister and brother-in-law and my grandmother all visiting. Not to mention we did Christmas, a Christmas Eve program, looking at Christmas lights, a dinner out with everybody and had our 16th wedding anniversary.
Of course the thing that everybody liked most is the visitors. When all of these girl cousins get together, they have such a great time. They all play together so well. 5 of them were playing happily together so I called the other 2 over and had them stop for a silly faces picture. They are too silly!
Then I set up a tripod and got a picture of great-grandma, her granddaughters (my sister and me) and 7 of her great-granddaughters (one more great-granddaughter and great-grandson live in Chicago).
My sister and her family left on Monday, but grandma stayed until Christmas afternoon, so she was able to go to the Christmas Eve service with us to see our Shepard, 2 mice and a sheep. Thankfully, I was able to grab somebody to get a group shot of all of us.
My grandma continued on her travels to Houston and we hung out in jammies the rest of Christmas Day! After doing some hair chalk and borrowing a cat ear headband, I asked the girls to huddle around to grab a Christmas picture. We actually didn’t take any pictures opening any pictures or Christmas morning this year.
Hope you had a Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday, or however you celebrated (or didn’t this week). And have a very Happy New Year!
