Mommy and Me Monday- The 47th- By the Fire

You’d think I would be better about it, but sometimes it gets to Sunday and I realize "ack, I don’t have a picture for this week."
We had a very nice fire today, and much needed as I think it’s been below freezing all day. I guess you can’t see it in the picture. (Incidentally, why is firewood so expensive?)
Mr. Serious was being super silly when taking the picture, something about "say cookies" which we do instead of "say cheese" but we all got the giggles. With this eating healthy and having proper servings sizes, I sure which I had a cookie right about now!
Happy Monday! School/work is canceled tomorrow because of bad weather. Here’s hoping it’s not as bad as predicted. While the last years’ snow day was good and all, we’ve been cooped up in the house long enough.
**There really is only one requirement here, a picture of you and your baby or babies; your children, your “baby” (ie significant other) or even your fur babies. If your picture doesn’t feature you (meaning you must be in the picture), I will have to delete your link. It’s not fair to the others that follow the rules.**

Such a fun pic! I’m going to make an effort to participate in this more this year- I had to find 3 pics of myself for something recently and it was sad how far back I had to go to find pics of me!

Oooohhhh, love the fire! I am jealous. Enjoy a day at home with the family tomorrow! Have you started a new ‘diet’ with the proper portions and no cookies. I started one two days before New Years’ and then went off of it on New Year’s! 🙂
Yes. That’s the idea…and exercising again, too. Here’s hoping it works. I’ve got about 15 lbs to lose. Ack. That’s a lot, but it’s the truth.

Well, it’s a good thing we went to the grocery store this weekend. Although, if it keeps up, we will run out of milk!

Yes, the ice is definitely horrible. It’s like an inch on top of the snow.

Oh, it’s pretty bad. We’re on day 2 now, and it’s supposed to get just hot enough to melt some before it drops to the teens tonight. I’m predicting at least a day 3!
This is a great picture of you and your girls. I always wish that I can have more pictures with them. And since I am the one who takes the picture, it’s rare that we can all be together in a photo. We don’t use our fireplace either, just for display, 🙂

What a great photograph… I love Isabelle’s face. There is nothing in the world greater than the laughter of a child and I can almost hear it through the photo.
