Mommy and Me Monday- The 56th- An afternoon out
It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids. Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information.
Saturday, we went Bohemian (thanks amanda for that reference). We got up, and ready and headed into town to the CNN center for lunch. We arrived and ate lunch at a restaurant at 10:45am!
And, it went perfectly.
Then we headed to Philips Arena to meet a couple Harlem Globetrotters before the show.
Notice, the girls are standing on a chair…and I’m in regular shoes and they are, um, well, really, really tall!
Then, the girls, seeing my camera out, wanted to take pictures of mommy with their sister. I think they both did a really good job. I think this is starting to become a tradition.
And, not to be left out, Mr. Serious did join us, too.
After our pictures, we headed down to see the show. In addition to amazing feats of athleticism, they were quite funny and entertaining, too.
The show didn’t start until 1pm (which is about an hour into naptime), but we made it through with no major meltdowns. Of course, about 2.2 seconds after pulling out of the parking garage, #2 was out!
What fun did you have this week? What were you all up to?
Grab the button and link up. Make some new friends and visit some old ones, too.
**There really is only one requirement here, a picture of you and your baby or babies; your children, your “baby” (ie significant other) or even your fur babies. If your picture doesn’t feature you (meaning you must be in the picture), I will have to delete your link. It’s not fair to the others that follow the rules.**
I try to make sure and visit all of you and leave some comment love. Please spread the love! And, I never mind the comments, either:)
those HGT are timeless!!! (or do they keep replacing them with younger versions!!!)
I think they might replace some of them:)

Hello Krystyn,
I’m glad to participate again this week. I don’t have recent photos of me my my children of what we did this week so I had to browse from my old files. Anyways, your meme encouraged me to be mindful about posing for photo op with my kids which I rarely do. thanks!
I remember watching the Harlem boys on TV when I was very young. I’m sure you had lots of fun watching them.
Hope you have a wonderful week.
Ruth
