Quick and Easy Cauliflower Rice and Spiralized Stir Fry

The internet has been a buzz with all things spiraled and cauliflower rice. I’m slow to jump on some bandwagons, I admit. But the cauliflower rice had me intrigued, but I had never purchased any and didn’t think about making my own. And well, I had been spiraling, but every time I went to use my hand cranking one, it moved all over the counter and I ended up with a mess!

And then I was sent a The Ninja® Intelli-Sense™ System with Auto-Spiralizer™. Game changer! I’ve always been a huge fan of all things Ninja (and Shark), and this is one of them. The base allows for multiple attachments capable of different blending actions.

easy and quick cauli-rice

I cleaned my head of cauliflower, broke off sections and into the Ninja it went. In just a few seconds and a few pulses with the 64 oz. Precision Processor™ Bowl, and I’ve got amazing quick and easy Cauliflower Rice.

It was easy to pour right into a pan with a little oil and salt and pepper and sauté for a few minutes. The cleanup was breeze, too.

Spiralizing

The Auto-Spiralizer made getting vegetables into small pieces for stir fry a piece of cake.

We peeled the carrots, cut off the ends, used the “spaghetti blade” and had spiraled carrots in no time at all.

Admittedly, the carrots were a little harder to spiralize than the zucchini, but that was super fast and came out perfectly.

Stir Frying

All of the vegetables went into a skillet with already cooked chicken along with some mushrooms, water chestnuts and bamboo shoots. We added a little stir fry sauce and cooked them all up. Everything went on top of the cauliflower rice, and dinner was served.

Most of us devoured our meal. Some of the kids met it with reservation, but I’ll take it. Especially for how easy it was to make.

The Ninja

I use my Ninja every morning to make a smoothie. And some nights, a margarita pitcher is easily blended up on the pitcher vessel. I like that I’ve got quite a few appliances now in one Ninja!

The Ninja® Intelli-Sense™ System with Auto-Spiralizer™ features a smart and powerful base that transforms into four high-performance appliances. Intelli-Sense Technology delivers optimal results every time—all at the tap of a touchscreen.

Features include:

  • 12 Smart Programs: Chef-designed automatic recipe creations deliver optimal results every time. Precisely calibrated patterns of pulsing, pausing, and speed create everything from fresh salsa and pizza dough to margaritas and decadent ice creams—all it takes is a simple touch.
  • Smart Vessel Recognition: Automatically adjusts speed, power, and torque for each attachment, and the touchscreen changes to display a unique menu of Smart Programs, enabling one Smart Base to become four high-performance appliances.
  • Intuitive touchscreen: A sleek, flat screen responds to your touch and lets you select between vessel-specific Smart Programs and manual options.
  • 1200-watt base with four interchangeable vessels, including a 72 oz. Total Crushing® Pitcher; a 24 oz. Single-Serve Blender Cup; a 64 oz. Precision Processor™ Bowl; and an Auto-Spiralizer
  • All attachments are BPA free and dishwasher safe

The auto spiralizer is a brilliant idea! This would make my life so much easier, no more hand cranked spiralizer.

Mine made an immediate trip to the trashcan after this one. And there is less of that middle piece with this, too!
