I had to call a company Monday about a toy that we had received that was recalled. I had ordered the repair kit over a month ago, but still hadn’t received it. I was actually calling to check on the status seeing as it had been a month and the company said that the toy shouldn’t be used until repaired.
The lady that I spoke with was not the most educated and I’m not sure she even understood what she was looking at. Every time she had to think about her response she would say “What do you call it?” and then give her response.
Me: “Do you have a tracking number?”
Her: “What do you call it? No, it says it was shipped on November 21st.”
Me: “What is the expected arrival time?”
Her: “What do you call it? 7-10 business days.”
I think you get the idea. “What do you call it?”…not really thinking words. Not that I think highly of “ummmm” or “huh?” but seriously!?!? It wasn’t like she is was foreign and she was searching for the correct word in English. Those were just her thinking words!
