It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids.  Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information.

With three kiddos, getting the vacuuming or any other chore done requires a bit of creativity. E loves to be in the carrier, so I put her on my back for a ride.

She was close to me so she wasn’t fussing and I got the vacuuming done.

Double bonus for my mini-photographer once again stealing my phone and taking pictures. She’s coming in handy these days.

*This whole back to school schedule is kicking my behind. As soon as I get the younger two down for quiet/nap time, the big is home in 20 minutes and it starts all over again. I’ll visit..I just might be a couple weeks late! Thanks for sticking around and linking up. I love seeing your with your kiddos and the creative shots some of you take!

Mommy and Me Monday at Really, Are You Serious?

**There really is only one requirement here, a picture of you and your baby or babies; your children, your “baby” (ie significant other) or even your fur babies.  If your picture doesn’t feature you (meaning you must be in the picture), I will have to delete your link.  It’s not fair to the others that follow the rules.**

I try to make sure and visit all of you and leave some comment love.  Please spread the love!  And, I never mind the comments, either:)

When Dave was a baby he was fussy each evening. The only thing that would calm him down was me carrying him while I vacuumed. I wish I’d had one of your carriers. E seems so contented in it. I know how busy you are. Isnt it nice you aren’t teaching. I’m glad you have this time with the girls. Hugs, Grammy L

Yes, so glad I’m not teaching.

And, the carriers are awesome! I recommend them every chance I get (I didn’t have one with #1!)

I remember #1 and #2 screaming with the vacuum, too, but I wasn’t wearing them. Yes, give the carrier a try. Hopefully it helps…might help in the kitchen, too. When your #2 gets a little bigger, you could even use a carrier on your back!

Love! I wish Eli like his ergo…but he hates it! She looks happily content in there.

Really, he hates it? Bummer. She likes it as long as I’m moving. If I try to sit down with her in it or even stand still, she starts to get the wiggles.

I think this is the only way I got things done for a period of at least 3 years. I am just now getting to where I can clean in some kind of peace.

I liked the back carrier better than the front, but that is funny that you vacuum while holding her! lol

I agree, getting vaccuming done with a baby has got to be one of the hardest things ever.

Yes! This is how I vacuum too. And cook dinner, or fold laundry, or wash dishes.. it’s the only way to guarantee that my baby won’t be yelling at me!

I can do almost all of those. If I try to sit (folding laundry) she’s not too happy with me.

I think most all kids love to be in the carrier while vacuuming… back and forth back and forth 🙂 My son used to love it! 🙂

Totally believe it. I don’t do the back very often, I was just worried all the leaning forward would tick her off!

    Great photos by your mini-photographer.
I wish we could do that with a couple of our doggies when Bill is vacuuming – they go crazy. =)
