Rocking chair snuggles | Mommy and Me Monday | 473rd
Whoop! I totally missed the 9 year anniversary of Mommy and Me Monday and the 14th anniversary of this old blog. That’s what happens when blogging old age sets in, right? But, I’m going to say that 9 years of doing this every.single.week is pretty awesome. So, I’ll pat myself on the head and keep on keeping on despite being like 2 weeks late in my celebration.
Sometimes B pops right up and is ready to go, bypassing a morning hug from mommy. Other mornings, she comes in and asks for a snuggle and wants to share my blanket. She’s finicky in the mornings. But this morning, I was up and putting my shoes on when she woke up. I asked her to come on it, and she did and hopped right up in my lap.
I’m glad she still fits and wants to be here because I know it will be a blink (heck some days are already like this), before she wants no lap sitting and no snuggles. I’m thankful she’ll smile for the picture too because I don’t always get that either. Now all requests for pictures must be made beforehand.
But, if she gets to order whatever she wants off the menu and has so many adults telling her how cute she is, she’ll turn on the charm like nobody’s business!
I’ll be over here trying to embrace my baby as much as she lets me, because in 2.5 weeks I register this crazy girl for KINDERGARTEN!
